Medical Technologies

  1. MR LINAC:

MR-Linac is an MR technology used in the field of radiation oncology that provides clear imaging of tumor tissue with a special measurement and targeting. With MR Linac Unity 1.5 Tesla, which we prefer in many of our patients in need of radiotherapy at Liv Hospital Ulus Hospital, we reduce the treatment sessions of our patients by protecting the surrounding tissues.

MR-Linac Unity treatment, which is specially planned for the person, has the feature of separating tumor tissue from normal tissues. With its privileged aspects such as sensitive imaging technology and tissue imaging, it can be applied to areas such as heart, kidney, stomach and spinal cord where beam position is difficult, especially tumors in the brain, neck and abdomen.

2. PET CT:

PET-CT, which is an advanced imaging method in which two separate devices are combined into a single device, plays an active role especially in the field of oncology, as well as cardiac and neurological disorders. Thanks to the low radiation and high speed scanning feature of the body; It is used in the diagnosis of cancer diseases, treatment planning and post-treatment evaluation processes.

PET-CT is an advanced technological imaging method created by the combination of positron emission tomography (PET) and computerized tomography (CT).

3. TRUEBEAM

The TrueBeam STx system is a new generation beam therapy technology. TrueBeam STx is used in Radiation Oncology to irradiate tumors in every part of the body. System; It uses many technical innovations with robotic imaging, automatic patient positioning, motion management and a completely restructured control to dynamically synchronize therapy. It is generally used successfully in the treatment of tumors in hard-to-reach areas. TrueBeam STx can deliver a higher dose in a short time, and in this way, it significantly reduces the duration and number of sessions.

4 . TOMOTHERAPY HDA:

TomoTherapy is a radiation therapy device in which radiation is delivered slice-by-slice. It combines a form of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) with the accuracy of computed tomography (CT) scanning technology in one device.

5. TRILOGY:

Trilogy is a type of linear accelerator used in radiotherapy applied to cancer patients, namely the LINAK device. The usage areas of each of the methods used in Trilogy are different; It varies according to the structure of the tumor and the patient.

6. SINGLE DOSE RADIOTHERAPY:

With the Single-Dose Radiotherapy method, the tumor area can be fully seen and irradiated directly during the operation. Due to the direct irradiation of the tumor bed, the patient’s skin is not exposed to radiation and this reduces the side effects that may develop on the skin in the future.

7. SPECT CT:

Spect CT is an imaging technique in which two different types of images can be used separately or together with a single body scan. Images used together provide detailed information about the functions of body parts and organs.

8. DIGITAL MAMOGRAPHY WITH 3D TOMOSYNTHESIS:

In breast tomosynthesis, the X-ray tube moves in an arc capturing multiple images of each breast from different angles.

These digital images are then re-synthesized by a computer into three-dimensional images. These three-dimensional image sets minimize tissue overlaps that can hide cancer cells.

9. 4D BREAST ULTRASONOGRAPHY

4D Breast Ultrasonography is an imaging device and is used in the diagnosis of breast cancer. ABVS (Automatic Breast Volumetric Scanner); It is also called automatic breast ultrasound, volumetric breast ultrasound or 4D ultrasound.

10. DOCTOSCOPY:

Ductoscopy is a diagnostic and therapeutic device used in the detection of wart-like lesions that cause nipple discharge in the milk ducts and are likely to be cancer, and to remove these lesions in appropriate patients.
